Webby’s Driving School was created out of a strong passion and commitment to making learning to drive easy and accessible. I was a police officer in the UK for 30 years before I emigrated to New Zealand in 2017 with my Kiwi wife and two boys. I have held a UK car and motorbike licence for 41 years and completed a police driving course.
I consider safety paramount, and want to pass this and my driving knowledge on to learner drivers. New Zealand has challenging roads and travelling conditions and I want to help learner drivers be confident and safe in their approach to them.
I qualified as a NZ Driving Instructor in 2019 with the desire to pass on the importance of safety in a controlled environment. With this background, and my professional, calm and methodical approach I believe I can guide new drivers to being a capable, positive driver and an asset to have on New Zealand roads.
